Some dental procedures are more involved, and for the patient’s benefit, they may need the option of general anesthesia for the dental surgery. This is very beneficial for pediatric patients needing extensive restoration and repair and mentally disabled individuals who cannot tolerate routine dental care.

For a significant dental procedure or extensive treatment, you will receive general anesthesia in our hospital setting to make you sleep during treatment.

Standard dental procedures done in the Surgery Center include:

• Tooth Extraction
• Root Canal
• Cavity preparation and fillings

Pediatric Oral Surgery

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Hoogeveen specialize in the dental treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults as well as children with special health care needs. We know that establishing good oral hygiene and habits at a young age is vital for a lifetime of good oral health. That is why we focus on educating both the patient and the parent about dental needs and recommendations with the goal of achieving and maintaining dental health.
