Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Prairie Ridge Care Center

Clinic RN or LPN
The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients. The Clinic Nurse responds to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments working directly with a primary care physician. The Clinic Nurse would be orientated to work in the Medical Clinic or Specialty Clinic.
EMT/Ambulance Driver
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a trained healthcare professional who specializes in providing immediate medical attention and care to patients in emergency situations. They play a crucial role in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, following strict Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. With their extensive knowledge and skills, EMTs are capable of handling a wide range of emergency situations and delivering life-saving care to those in need.
Floater Cook
The Prairie Ridge Care Center (PRCC) Cook prepares meals for residents, staff and visitors.
Host/Hostess
The PRCC Host/Hostess sets a welcoming atmosphere in their assigned cottage by serving meals, attending to cleaning tasks, and spending time with residents. They must have excellent interpersonal skills, be patient with older people, work independently, and be a team player.
Housekeeper
Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, buffing floors, and washing windows. Ideal candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have good interpersonal skills.
Marketing & Communications Manager
The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities for Orange City Area Health System. This role focuses on strategic marketing initiatives in collaboration with various departments, managing media relationships, and producing high-quality content across digital, print, and traditional channels. This position translates high-level strategy into consistent, timely, and effective marketing and communications that support the hospital’s mission, service lines, foundation initiatives, and community presence. This role requires strong independence, initiative, and attention to detail in execution.
Optometrist
The Optometrist provides vision evaluations and assesses visual acuity and overall eye health. Diagnoses and treats various eye conditions, diseases, and injuries. Prescribes corrective lenses or medications as needed and provides pre- and post-operative care for patients. Promotes healthy vision by counseling and educating patients. He/she adheres to the mission, vision and values of the Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance.
Physical Therapist Assistant
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is involved in comprehensive treatment of patients in accordance with state practice acts and rules. The PTA will organize and assist the physical therapists with programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
PM Grill Cook
The PM Grill Cook prepares grill items for hospital patients, staff and guests. He/she assists the cook as needed, washes dishes, cleans the kitchen, cafeteria and dining areas of the hospital.
Preauthorization/Referral Clinic Nurse
The Preauthorization and Referral Nurse is responsible for reviewing, processing, and coordinating prior authorization and referral requests for medical services, procedures, and medications. This role ensures compliance with payor guidelines and promotes timely, cost-effective, and quality patient care. The Clinic Nurse would be orientated to work in the Medical Clinic and/or Specialty Clinic in other job roles.
Radiology Technologist
The Radiologic Technologist performs various Radiology duties in a busy imaging department. Candidate must be proficient in x-rays. They may have the opportunity to be cross-trained in one or more additional modalities, including CT, MRI, and Mammography.
