Our Services

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists help people with various conditions such as joint injuries, connective tissue injuries, neurological conditions, postpartum physical therapy care, and cardiopulmonary and circulatory conditions. Our physical therapy department is located on the Orange City Area Health System campus, and provides healing to those who need it. We have 11 physical therapists and assistants, and our facility is designed to provide the best care with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps people to perform daily activities and participate in society despite physical or mental limitations. It is suitable for people of all ages who want to improve their abilities to perform daily tasks at home, school, work, and during leisure activities. Our therapists consider the individual's abilities, the tasks to be performed, and the environment in which the task occurs when creating a treatment plan. If you or a family member ever need occupational therapy, knowing its value throughout the lifespan is essential.

Speech Therapy

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) help people with various conditions including, but not limited to dysphagia, aphasia, Parkinson’s disease, post stroke, post-polio, degenerative diseases, and developmental delays. They work with a variety of ages ranging from birth to death.

For pediatrics, the SLP’s areas of expertise include expressive and receptive language, articulation, and phonological disorder. This can include the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to help enhance total communication.

Pediatric Therapy

Our pediatric therapists work closely with children and their families to maximize their potential for functional independence and communication. We use fun, hands-on activities that appeal to kids to address specific therapy challenges. Our services include assessments, evaluations, health promotion, adaptive equipment needs, feeding intervention, and development of functional skills. We treat various diagnoses, from minor developmental delays to significant neurological disorders.
