Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist
The Laboratory Assistant demonstrates clinical and technical competency in collection of specimens according to laboratory policy for hospital and clinic patients. He/she is responsible for processing specimens for the laboratory and placing test orders into the laboratory information system. He/she is responsible for specimen integrity for all referral testing. The Laboratory Assistant must be able to work with the growth and development needs of all ages of patients.

Education Requirements:
Phlebotomy experience preferred. Ideally looking for a certified phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or LPN. Will consider training the right candidate.
Job Schedule:
Part time or Full time 30-37 hours/week. 3 - 4 days/week; OCAHS laboratory collection area is staffed Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 5:00 pm and shifts vary. Saturday morning is 6am –12pm.
