Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist
The Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist is responsible to assist with the implementation of Clinical Information Systems modules, supplemental support systems, and related training of clinical and medical staff as directed by the Clinical Informatics Nurse. The specialist is responsible for assisting with the education of users of the system and serving as a liaison between the clinical aspect of the system and the administrative and technical aspect. He/she helps coordinate all training, user settings, interface customization, application maintenance, and updates related to the clinical software systems. He/she adheres to the mission, vision and values of Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance.

Education Requirements:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing and a Registered Nurse with current Iowa License. BSN preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Two – three years of clinical informatics experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Job Schedule:
Monday –Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
