ORANGE CITY AREA HEALTH SYSTEM EXPANDS ANESTHESIOLOGY TEAM

Brett Guthmiller, DO, joined Orange City Area Health System’s anesthesia medical group in August.

“Dr. Guthmiller will bring an added layer of support to our medical team and comfort to our patients,” commented Makayla Davidson, Director of Ancillary Services for OCAHS. “His skills, dedication, and collaborative mindset are a perfect complement to our exceptional anesthesia team.”

As part of this team, Dr. Guthmiller provides anesthesia services for the health system’s Surgical Center, Birth Center, and Pain Management Clinic. Guthmiller received his anesthesiology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and received his B.A. in biology/health professions from Northwestern College.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join a well-respected organization and group of medical professionals in carrying out the tradition of outstanding local healthcare,” stated Guthmiller. “It is exciting to be able to return to the Orange City area with my wife, Elizabeth, to raise our sons.”
