Health system volunteer Auxiliary donates $30,000 for senior care transport

The Orange City Area Health System Gift Garden and Auxiliary board donated nearly $30,000 to the Foundation for the health system's purchase of two six-passenger golf cars. The golf cars will take the place of the beloved trolley and will be used to take residents of Prairie Ridge Care Center and Landsmeer Ridge Retirement Community out and about in the community, including fishing.

The Auxiliary raises funds throughout the year through various fundraising events like the PaperPie Book Sale, Mother's Day Sale, Harvest Festival, and the upcoming Holiday Open House.
