AM Cook Assist/Salad - Hospital
The AM Cook Assistant/Salad works with the cook to set up meal trays for patients. He/she prepares salads, salad bar, and desserts for patients, staff and visitors. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps run the POS system in the cafeteria. He/she has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps in the cafeteria. May cross-train as a cook.

Education Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age. They must take a modified diet and sanitation course provided through the dietary department.
Job Schedule:
Full-Time, 32-40 hours/week. 6:00 am – 2:00 pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm, days may vary. Every other weekend and holiday and fill-in as needed. May cross-train to other shifts.
