ORANGE CITY, IA — Orange City Area Health System is pleased to welcome Meghan Grassel, MD to its family medicine team. Dr. Grassel will begin seeing patients on August 24, and her schedule is now open for appointments.
Dr. Grassel provides comprehensive family medicine care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics and obstetrics to women’s and men’s health, and chronic condition management. With a strong interest in caring for the whole family, she looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients throughout the area.
“I am excited to join Orange City Area Health System and begin caring for patients and families in the area,” said Dr. Grassel. “Growing up on a farm in southeast South Dakota, I feel a strong connection to the Orange City community. I look forward to providing care for the whole family and helping patients with everything from obstetrics and healthcare maintenance to chronic condition management.”
Dr. Grassel completed her undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University and earned her medical degree from the University of South Dakota. Her background and rural upbringing helped shape her passion for family medicine and her commitment to providing accessible, relationship-centered care.
