LAURA PLUIM NAMED HOME HEALTH AIDE OF THE YEAR

Stonerock Award given by Home Health Aide Digest
Laura Pluim, a member of the Orange City Home Health & Hospice staff, was named Home Health Aide of the Year by Home Health Aide Digest. According to the national publication, “Laura has distinguished herself, not just as a Home Health Aide who gives outstanding care, but as an example of lifelong commitment to home care.” Pluim was nominated by her supervisor Jeanne Jungers, Orange City Home Health & Hospice manager, and featured in the “Spirit Profile” of the July/August 2010 issue of the Digest. She received a Stonerock Award recognition plaque and a check for $400. “We were deeply impressed,” reported Nathan Unseth, publisher of the Digest, “not only by her humble confidence, but by her practical viewpoint, her versatility in dealing with home and hospice care, and her deep spirituality.” More information about Orange City Home Health & Hospice can be found at ocHealthSystem.org.
