PM Cook Assist (Casual)

The PM Cook Assistant works with the pm cook to set up meal trays for patients. He/she delivers patient trays and is involved in clean up.  The PM Cook Assistant has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning.  He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps in the cafeteria. Click here for more information.


Home Health & Hospice Nurse (Part-time)

The Home Health & Hospice Nurse works as a primary case manager for home health and hospice patients and families in their homes, nursing homes or inpatient facilities. He/she is responsible for providing assessment, interventions, evaluation of patient/family needs, care coordination and case management for his/her caseload of patients. Physical Therapist (Full-time)

Individuals in the role will evaluate patients, develop a treatment program and then perform treatment and/ or direct a physical therapist assistant to carry out the treatment to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.  The physical therapist will also communicate with all pertinent members of the patient’s health care team. Nursing Assistant - Hospital (Full-time and Part-time)

The Nurse Assistant provides all aspects of personal care to patients in the hospital including bathing, hygiene, nutritional assistance, activities, rehabilitation assistance etc. Click here for more information.


Host/Hostess - PRCC (Full-time, Part-time or Casual)

The Prairie Ridge Care Center (PRCC) Host/Hostess is largely responsible for setting the welcoming, home like atmosphere in the cottage to which she/he is assigned.  She/he sets tables, greets residents coming to the dining room, serves the meals, clears tables, runs the dish machine in the cottage, attends to assigned cleaning tasks,  does scheduled activities with residents, serves snack times for residents, staff and  visitors, and in general watches over and spends time with residents making the cottage a home. Care Coordinator (Casual)

The Care Coordinator is responsible for the appropriate use of inpatient services, through evaluation of admissions, use of ancillary services, and/or length of hospital stay.  He/she will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, and implementing the discharge needs of the hospitalized patient. Hospital Paramedic (Full-time and Casual)

The Hospital Paramedic provides direct patient care to patients requiring emergency treatment and transport, in the out of hospital setting, and during inter-facility transports.  He/she is an active member of the OCAHS ambulance team.  He/she assists with inpatient and outpatient services within his/her scope of practice to include assisting with respiratory treatments, EKG’s, injections, infusions, and patient monitoring during procedures.  He/she also assists with patient care in the emergency room. Respiratory Therapist (Casual)

The Respiratory Therapist provides inpatient and outpatient respiratory treatment modalities.  This includes treadmills, respiratory treatments, pulmonary function tests, EKG’s, holter and event monitors.  He/she assists with emergent and routine care within the inpatient settings, OB and newborn, PACU, and med/surg. Surgical Technologist $2500 Sign-On Bonus! (Part-time)

The Surgical Technologist is a member of the surgical team who works with other personnel in delivering quality care to the patient and assumes responsibilities pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively.  He/she demonstrates technical competence and knowledge of aseptic technique, operating room policies and procedures, equipment, and supplies and instruments used in the operating room.  He/she must possess well developed critical thinking skills and positive interpersonal relationships.  The tech utilizes appropriate age related patient care protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  He/she adheres to the philosophy, mission and Core Values of Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance. Environmental Services Associate (Part-time and Casual)

The Environmental Services Associate performs general housekeeping duties which include but are not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing and buffing floors, carpet care, washing windows and other housekeeping related duties. EMT/Ambulance Driver (Casual)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides patient care in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, according to Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols.  The EMT will work as a team member with other EMTs and Paramedics. Click here for more information.


Home Health & Hospice Aide (Part-time and Casual)

The Home Health & Hospice Aide makes a difference in the lives of others by providing compassionate personal care to those we serve in home health & hospice. Duties will include: bathing, dressing, exercises, toileting, and other personal care as well as comfort and supportive care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and respite. Medical Clinic Nurse (Casual)

The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients.  The Clinic Nurse responds to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments working directly with a primary care physician.  Click here for more information.


RN - PRCC (Full-time and Casual)

Join a long term care facility that where the overriding concept is that PRCC is a HOME – and that means that the care and activities are resident-centered. The RN acts as a team leader in our Cottages.  He/She administers meds/ treatments and supervises and directs care for approximately 24-48 residents.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  We also encourage the staff to join with the residents in the many activities we have.  We offer 12 hour shifts for our nurses.  Click here for more information.


Sr. Care Nurse Assistant - PRCC (Full-time & Part-time)

Join a long term care facility that where the overriding concept is that PRCC is a HOME – and that means that the care and activities are resident-centered. The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides personal and supportive care to the residents to make this possible.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  PRCC is committed to providing consistent care for our residents which enriches the relationship between the CNA and resident.  We also encourage the CNA to join with the residents in the many activities we offer.  Completion of a 75 hour CNA course is required.  OCAHS will assist you in completing this course and will also pay for this course if you join our team.  This may be a great career for you with potential for advancement or it may be an opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare field while furthering your education.  We offer flexibility in the number of hours you work in a week and 5 or 7.5 hour shifts.
