Cook Assistant Runner - Hospital (Casual)

The Cook Assistant – Runner delivers meal trays to hospital patients, washes pots and pans, operates the dish machine, and does assigned cleaning and mopping. She/he puts away dishes, stocks items and helps set up, deliver, and clean up for special dining events as needed. Click here for more information.

Host/Hostess - PRCC (Part-time)

The Prairie Ridge Care Center (PRCC) Host/Hostess is largely responsible for setting the welcoming, home like atmosphere in the cottage to which s/he is assigned. S/he sets tables, greets residents coming to the dining room, serves the meals, clears tables, runs the dish machine in the cottage, attends to assigned cleaning tasks,  does scheduled activities with residents, serves snack times for residents, staff and  visitors, and in general watches over and spends time with residents making the cottage a home.  Click here for more information.

Unit Coordinator - Hospital (Casual)

The Unit Coordinator functions as a communications person at the Hospital Nurses’ station. He/she answers the phone, coordinates nursing unit activities, audits charts, and enters patient’s demographic information in the computer.  If possible, the Unit Coordinator will cross train to the Nurse Assistant role. The Nurse Assistant provides all aspects of personal care to acute and swing bed patients, including bathing, hygiene, nutritional assistance, rehabilitation assistance etc. Click here for more information.

Home Health & Hospice Nurse (Part-time)

The Home Health & Hospice Nurse works as a primary case manager for home health and hospice patients and families in their homes, nursing homes or inpatient facilities. He/she is responsible for providing assessment, interventions, evaluation of patient/family needs, care coordination and case management for his/her caseload of patients. PM Cook (Part-time or Casual)

Assistant Activities Coordinator - PRCC (Part-time)

The Activity Assistant will complete all resident MDS activity department assessments and be the activity department participant in resident Care Conferences. She/he will assist the Activity Coordinator in planning scheduled activities and will assist with the scheduling and utilization of students and volunteers in the activity department.  She/he will assist with special occasions as needed. Physical Therapist

This position will primarily serve our pediatric patient population with developmental disabilities, sensory integration disorders, and orthopedic concerns, and potentially provide care for our general outpatient and inpatient caseload.  Click here for more information.

Laboratory Assistant (Part-time)

The Laboratory Assistant demonstrates clinical and technical competency in collection of specimens according to laboratory policy for hospital and clinic patients. He/she is responsible for processing specimens for the laboratory and placing test orders into the laboratory information system.  He/she is responsible for specimen integrity for all referral testing.  The Laboratory Assistant must be able to work with the growth and development needs of all ages of patients.  The laboratory assistant will also give allergy injections and immunizations. Click here for more information.

Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician (Full-time or Part-time)

Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties according to established standards and regulations for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Will work with self-discipline, good judgment, and considerable independence while following established standards of practice.   Day-to-day duties include quality control, quality assurance, procedure and instrument maintenance. RN - PRCC (Full-time or Casual)

Join a long term care facility that where the overriding concept is that PRCC is a HOME – and that means that the care and activities are resident-centered. The RN acts as a team leader in our Cottages.  He/She administers meds/ treatments and supervises and directs care for approximately 24-48 residents.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  We also encourage the staff to join with the residents in the many activities we have.  We offer 12 hour shifts for our nurses. Sr. Care Nurse Assistant - PRCC (Full-time, Part-time or Casual)

Join a long term care facility that where the overriding concept is that PRCC is a HOME – and that means that the care and activities are resident-centered. The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides personal and supportive care to the residents to make this possible.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  PRCC is committed to providing consistent care for our residents which enriches the relationship between the CNA and resident.  We also encourage the CNA to join with the residents in the many activities we offer.  Completion of a 75 hour CNA course is required.  OCAHS will assist you in completing this course and will also pay for this course if you join our team.  This may be a great career for you with potential for advancement or it may be an opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare field while furthering your education.  We offer flexibility in the number of hours you work in a week and 5 or 7.5 hour shifts.
