Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) (Part-time)

A Part Time Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner for an Urgent Care practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable seeing clients of all ages and requires the ability to work independently to treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses. There is an emphasis on evidence-based patient care. The applicant must be highly organized, capable of decision making and implementing new procedures and processes. Must be able to work interdependently with the health care team and community resources. Urgent Care Nurse (Part-time)

The Urgent Care Nurse is responsible for patient assessments, triage, and coordination of care. Collaborates with the provider to plan, implement and evaluate care.  The Urgent Care Nurse responds to a high volume of walk-in patients and phone calls each day.  She/he will be responsible for triaging walk-in patients, performing assessments, performing limited laboratory testing and carrying out various treatments plans ordered by the provider. Resident Associate - Landsmeer (2 positions)

The Resident Associate cleans apartments, does flat linen laundry, makes beds, and cleans common areas in independent living and assisted living areas of the building. He/she assists residents with minimum personal cares, and serves meals in dinning rooms, and assists with recreational activities. Click here for more information.

Home Health & Hospice Aide (Part-time and Casual)

The Home Health & Hospice Aide makes a difference in the lives of others by providing compassionate personal care to those we serve in home health & hospice. Duties will include: bathing, dressing, exercises, toileting, and other personal care as well as comfort and supportive care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and respite. Cook - Landsmeer (Full-time and Casual)

The Cook prepares meals, salads, and desserts and does some grille cooking during the noon meal. He/she sets tables, assists in serving meals and washes dishes. This person will be trained in all 3 shifts to allow for flexibility with scheduling due to vacation, illnesses, etc. Click here for more information.

Host/Hostess - PRCC (Full-time)

The Prairie Ridge Care Center (PRCC) Host/Hostess is largely responsible for setting the welcoming, home like atmosphere in the cottage to which she/he is assigned. She/he sets tables, greets residents coming to the dining room, serves the meals, clears tables, runs the dish machine in the cottage, attends to assigned cleaning tasks,  does scheduled activities with residents, serves snack times for residents, staff and  visitors, and in general watches over and spends time with residents making the cottage a home.  Click here for more information.

Environmental Services Associate - OB Floor (Full-time)

The Environmental Services Associate will also perform general housekeeping duties, which include but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing and buffing floors, carpet care, washing windows and other housekeeping related duties. Click here for more information.

RN or LPN - PRCC (Full-time and Part-time)

Join a long term care facility that where the overriding concept is that PRCC is a HOME – and that means that the care and activities are resident-centered. The RN acts as a team leader in our Cottages.  He/She administers meds/ treatments and supervises and directs care for approximately 24-48 residents.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  We also encourage the staff to join with the residents in the many activities we have.  We offer 12 hour shifts for our nurses.  Click here for more information.

Medical Clinic-Phone/Triage Nurse (Casual)

The Phone Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he must have excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, the ability to handle stressful situations, the ability handle multiple phone calls, the capacity to function independently, have varied clinical experience and the ability to document meticulously.  The Phone Nurse will address caller complaints/concerns, make follow up calls, schedule patient appointments, provide patient education and help room patients as needed.  She/he will be an important part of the patient care team. Groundskeeper (Casual)

The Groundskeeper is responsible for mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and caring for the exterior grounds of all Orange City Area Health System facilities. He/she will be involved with interior cleaning and projects as assigned. Click here for more information.

Medical Clinic Nurse (Full-time)

The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients.  The Clinic Nurse responds to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments working directly with a primary care physician. Salad Cook (Casual)

The Salad Cook prepares the salads, the salad bar & desserts for patients, staff and visitors.  The Salad Cook is included in clean up and has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning also.  He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps run the POS system in the cafeteria. Nursing Assistant - Hospital (Casual)

Server/PM Assist - Landsmeer (Casual)

Medical Clinic Receptionist (Casual)

The Medical Clinic Receptionist greets and assists patients in person and on the phone, schedules appointments by computer, takes messages, enters and verifies patient information.  The Receptionist will work as a member of a team to provide a high level of customer service to our patients.  Other general office duties are also required. Respiratory Therapist (Casual)

The Respiratory Therapist provides inpatient and outpatient respiratory treatment modalities.  This includes treadmills, respiratory treatments, pulmonary function tests, EKG’s, holter and event monitors.  He/she assists with emergent and routine care within the inpatient settings, OB and newborn, PACU, and med/surg. EMT/Ambulance Driver (Casual)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides patient care in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, according to Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols. The EMT will work as a team member with other EMTs and Paramedics. Click here for more information.

Sr. Care Nurse Assistant - PRCC (Full-time & Part-time)

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides personal and supportive care to the residents to make this possible.   We are a team that is committed to assisting our residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.  PRCC is committed to providing consistent care for our residents which enriches the relationship between the CNA and resident.  We also encourage the CNA to join with the residents in the many activities we offer.  Completion of a 75 hour CNA course is required.  OCAHS will assist you in completing this course and will also pay for this course if you join our team.  This may be a great career for you with potential for advancement or it may be an opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare field while furthering your education.  We offer flexibility in the number of hours you work in a week and 5 or 7.5 hour shifts.
