Dee Jay Donlin, Ph.D., LP will serve as Staff Clinical Psychologist in the behavioral health clinic, which is located in the family practice clinic at the Orange City campus. Dr. Donlin will work closely with the health system’s primary care providers to offer wholistic, patient-centered, coordinated behavioral health care.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Donlin as the director of this integrated, coordinated team-based approach to behavioral health,” said Marty Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System. “Even more so, we are excited to build this new program with someone of such high character and integrity.”

“Improving our patients’ care and experience through integrated services will be our highest priority,” said Donlin. “We want to develop a model that will best fit the needs of Northwest Iowa and so we will thoughtfully develop that care with feedback from patients and providers. ”

Dr. Donlin comes to Orange City Area Health System from Sanford Medical Center Thief River Falls, where he served as staff clinical psychologist and clinical director of the mental health division at the Minnesota-based health system. He previously provided psychological consultation for Area Special Education Cooperative in East Grand Forks, and on the mental health staff at Minneapolis Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Donlin received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota Psychology in the Schools Training Program. He also attended Luther-Northwestern Theological Seminary in St. Paul and Augustana Hochschule Theological Seminary in Neuendettelsau, Germany, and holds a B.A. in psychology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls.
