Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician
Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties according to established standards and regulations for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. He/she will work with self-discipline, good judgment, and considerable independence while following established standards of practice. Day-to-day duties include quality control, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance. He/she must be proficient in assigned areas and willing to learn new technology.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or equivalent. Education must meet the requirements defined by CLIA. MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification preferred.
Job Schedule:
3 - 5 days/week: Monday – Friday. Starting time between 6 AM –9 PM with Rotating shifts. Includes weekends and call rotation shared with 10 other techs. On-call room available in hospital for overnight stays.
