INPATIENT
*Liked the friendly, helpful staff. I was impressed with the services and how quickly my needs were met. In fact they seemed to be very eager to do anything to make me comfortable.
*Liked private room & choosing what I wanted to eat. Everyone was very helpful. A special thank you to my day aide, a young lady who did an excellent job.
*Felt very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.
*Kind, bathroom close (near). Friendly. Food very good after feeling better. All very good. New hospital. Doctors took time to talk to me.
*The helpfulness and kindness of the EMT's you have on staff is to be commended. They are wonderful in a frightening situation. Couldn't have asked for better EMT's.
*Liked that the ER doctor spent time with me, listened, and made sure that I was doing well before leaving me. Also checked with me early in AM and informed our family doctor what was up. Excellent ER care, great new facility.
*Liked that we could come in as early as we wanted and stay as late as we wanted. Friendly and helpful staff.

*The rooms were great and the staff was very kind & knowledgeable. What a great facility to have surgery! The doctor is an outstanding surgeon & the staff is SDS & med. surgery did a great job in meeting any need I had, even though they were very busy. We need to continue to encourage our local people to have surgeries here!

SURGICAL

*I have been a patient at OCAHS for 10+ yrs. I travel from LeMars for my care & throughout these years I have seen several of the physicians. I appreciate the personal touch, the efficiency at OCAHS. I recommend all of my friends to OCAHS because of the many benefits you have to offer. This was the first visit to the new clinic. Beautiful building! It compliments your beautiful city!

RADIOLOGY
*With me using a walker, liked being dropped off near the door, cleanliness of facility, information at the desks and friendliness of the doctor. I was very pleased with my doctor appointment.
*On one of my visits I mentioned to the tech that my feet were freezing. She searched for and quickly covered them with a blanket and even tucked them in. I felt great! Thanks!
*I enjoyed the tech as my ultrasound tech. She explained what we saw on the screen. She answered all my questions & didn't 'talk down' to me. We had very nice conversations.

*I have had incredibly good therapists. My main therapist provides exercises that push me beyond my comfort zone. He is very insightful & gifted in discerning which nerves or muscles are affected & how to compensate or redirect the way I move those muscles & nerves. It will be wonderful for you to get your new offices & workout room. I also look forward to the water therapy. I have no criticism except the long walk back to the exercise mat! L I have enjoyed the camaraderie with each therapist. They are all very approachable & listen to my concerns.
CARDIAC REHAB
*The friendliness of staff & her concern.
ER
*Staff was friendly and their skills were very good. Communication between ER staff, lab & doctors was good. The ER seems very efficient-equipment & the way it is arranged. Example: A patient needed to go out to the ambulance, done quickly & ER garage is right there. Staff kept me informed. I was impressed with the new ER. It seems excellent planning went into it. Great job.
*Prompt attention given to patient. For an emergency room, an inviting atmosphere. No improvement needed.
