When you’re expecting a child, you want the best. The best preparation, the best care and the best birth experience possible.

Each Birth Day is Special
The birth of a baby is one of the most important events for any family. That’s why our Birth Center has just the thing to make the event special. You will deliver your baby in a suite especially designed to provide excellent medical care, as well as being beautifully furnished to provide pampered, cozy surroundings.

A flat-screen TV and DVD, a rocking recliner designed for comfort, and your own private bath with Jacuzzi are just a few of the amenities that help make your birth experience both personal and relaxing. Following your baby’s birth, you will move to a fresh suite with all the luxuries and more of home. Suites are furnished to accommodate Dad or another person who wants to spend the night, and the family room is furnished with comfortable seating and a kitchenette.

You & Me, Baby
Bonding with your baby begins at the moment of birth. You may spend as much time with your baby as you desire during those first days. No matter what time of day or night your baby is born, your healthcare team will organize your care and your baby’s care around your baby’s awake times, so you can rest when your baby sleeps.

Home We Go
New babies don’t come with instructions. That’s why we have a wide variety of support services to help you in those days following your baby’s birth. Many women appreciate the support given by our lactation consultant, the education we give on care of yourself and your newborn, and the home visit by a nurse after you go home.

Prepared Childbirth Classes
For expectant parents who have never taken childbirth classes. Includes signs of labor and the labor process, pain management and labor support, breathing and relaxation, birthing options, newborn care and characteristics, and how you and your partner can work as a team with your physician. Includes tour of our Birth Center. Meets for four evenings, 7 – 9 p.m.

Refresher Childbirth Class
For parents who have delivered a child but would like a refresher on reinforcing breathing techniques, pain control and labor positions. Meets for one evening, 7 – 9 p.m.

Parenting Class
For all parents. Topics included are baby care basics, CPR, breastfeeding. Meets for one evening, 7 – 9:30 p.m.

Sibling Class
For brothers and sisters-to-be ages two and above. Topics included are baby characteristics, behaviors, handling and a tour of the Birth Center. Meets one evening, 6 – 7 p.m.
