Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels meal program is available to residents of Orange City and Alton as a community project operated through the cooperative efforts of the local churches and Orange City Area Health System. Volunteers from the churches deliver hospital-prepared meals to area residents for a nominal fee, which is billed to the recipients monthly.

When can I get meals delivered?
“Meals On Wheels” are available Monday through Saturday. They can be delivered to you six days a week or any combination of days you wish. For example, some people may only want a meal on Tuesdays, or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We do not serve meals on Sundays or holidays.
How are my meals delivered?
“Meals On Wheels” are delivered by volunteers from our area churches between 11am and 12 noon. If you need them put in your fridge or need help with setting up the meal, they are more than happy to do that. If they don’t receive an answer when they knock at your door, they will call into the house.
If there is still no answer, they have been instructed to check to make sure you have not fallen or been hurt. We want to be sure you are safe!
